The following information is provided to inform residents and  visitors to the community, of Licensing Requirements, Town Ordinances and State Laws in regards to their beloved pet(s).  A summary of ordinances and laws are provided for quick reference over the next few pages.  For detailed information on a particular topic of interest, please click on that topic's link.

All dogs must be licensed and vaccinated by April 30th of each year.   Strict fines are in place for failure to license your pet.

All Dogs must be under control of their owner at all times.  Owners may maintain control by leash, voice and/or hand commands.

The Town of New Castle has a Pooper-Scooper Law, This ordinance is for the purpose of maintaining a safe and  clean environment for the public.  Please help us by cleaning up after your pet.

It is crucial that individuals respect these ordinances to ensure that domestic animals will be allowed within our public park in the future.
