January Water and Sewer Bills
The New Castle Water and Sewer Commission recently voted to send all water and sewer bills for the island at the same time. This will allow Public Works and Finance to be more efficient in their operations and conduct billing once per quarter rather than twice. Since we cannot process the “southside” bills until February, anyone who typically receives their bill in January will now see their bill in February. This will not change the billing period, just when it is mailed. Going forward all water and sewer bills will be sent in February (Oct-Dec usage), May (Jan-Mar usage), August (Apr-Jun usage), and November (Jul-Sep usage).
