Reminder: Water Shutdown Wentworth Rd 5/2/24
This is a friendly reminder that the City of Portsmouth will be shutting off the water main along Wentworth Rd between Wild Rose Lane and Main Street tonight. Customers served along this section of main will have the water turned off between midnight and 5 AM, and affected customers would have received a delivered notice by the City at the beginning of the week.
This work is to allow Portsmouth Water to replace a fire hydrant and valve at the intersection of Beach Hill Road.
When the water mains are turned back on, you may experience air or some discoloration. Please run your COLD water for a few minutes to allow it to clear. There is no danger associated with this color. If it does not clear, please call the City at 427-1530.
