Resident, Non-Resident, Senior & Handicapped Decals

Residents, Property Owners, Renters

  1. All New Castle residents and property owners, non-resident property owners and renters may have Great Island decals. These decals allow free vehicle admission to the Great Island Common and parking in areas around New Castle designated for "Permit Parking Only". Decals are available year round at the New Castle Town Hall. License plate registration numbers will be recorded on each Great Island decal. Decals must be permanently attached to the outside window on the rear of the driver's side of the vehicle.
  2. Full time residents/property owners may have up to three (3) decals at no charge. For each decal residents are required to provide a copy of their vehicle registration which must be registered in their name and with the Town of New Castle. Additional decals for vehicles of resident/property owners may be purchased for $150.00.
  3. Non-resident property owners may have one (1) decal at no charge. Non-residents are required to provide a copy of their vehicle registration which must be registered in their name. Additional decals for vehicles of non-resident property owners may be purchased for $150.00.
  4. Renters will have the same privilege as residents and may have up to three (3) decals at no charge. For each decal renters are required to provide a copy of their lease or a letter from their landlord showing proof of residency along with a copy of their vehicle registration which must be registered in their name. Additional decals for vehicles of renters may be purchased for $150.00.

Non-Residents, Senior Citizens

  1. Decals for Non-Residents and Senior Citizens are available starting May 1, 2024. You may purchase Non-Resident Decals online through the Town's Rec Desk site linked on the main page of the website only.
  2. The cost for Non-Resident decals is $150.00 per decal and $50.00 per decal for senior citizens (65+).
  3. License Plate registration numbers will be recorded on each Great Island decal. Decals must be permanently attached to an outside window on the driver's side of the vehicle.

Note: Any alteration or transfer of the Great Island decal to a vehicle other than the one to which it was originally assigned shall be considered a violation and may be punishable by loss of Great Island Common privileges or a $100 fine in accordance with RSA 31:39.
